COUNTER-CLAIM:Monica L.): Although GMO salmon contain more meat to feed starving people, what happens if these fish contained in tight farms, spread disease to one another?

CLAIM
A major concern about GMOs can be the non-labeling on GMO foods, which could lead to allergic reactions.
EVIDENCE: For example, “BT toxin, designed to kill pests that eat crops, caused allergies and other responses” (Genetically Modified Foods).
COUNTERCLAIM: I agree that allergic reactions are a valid concern, however, if labels contained possible ingredients mainly causing allergic reactions, people would then be informed.
That would be the purpose of the labels, to inform the consumer about ingredients that have been treated with GMOs.
