Presidential Democracy
Aroob Javed
The president is the head of state, and oversees the executive branch of the government.
The president is the head of the state and is voted for by the people.
Some examples of presidential democracy is the U.S and France.
To allow the presidential democracy to not be superior they split it into 3 governments, Executive, Judicial, and Legislative.
A presidential system is a system of government where a head of government is also head of state and leads an executive branch that is separate from the legislative branch.
Laws are debated and passed by the parliament.
All of three branches have the same amount of power.
Noshin Alam
A presidential system of democracy is based on the separation of powers between three branches of government: judicial, legislative and executive.
The president is the head of state, and oversees the executive branch of the government.
The United States is an example of the presidential system, a model that is followed in only a few other democracies, such as Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and the Philippines.
A presidential system is a system of government where a head of government is also head of state and leads an executive branch that is separate from the legislative branch.
In a Presidential system, the executive leader, the President, is directly voted upon by the people .
Some examples of a presidential democracy are the United States, France, Argentina and Kenya.
The citizens vote for the leader and representatives. Also you can criticize the government and you have freedom of speech and press.
Isaiah Reid ::
A presidential system is a system of government where a head of government is also head of state and leads an executive branch that is separate from the legislative branch.
A presidential system of democracy is based on the separation of powers between three branches of government: judicial, legislative and executive.
The President is head of state and leader of the government
President elected by the people nominates the ministers [members of government]
A system of government in which the powers of the president are constitutionally separate from those of the legislature.
An example of this democracy is the USA :
All of the three branches are equal
There are three branches:Legislative, Executive, and Judicial
The major difference between these two systems is that in a Presidential system, the executive leader, the President, is directly voted upon by the people, and the executive leader of the Parliamentary system, the Prime Minister
The main distinguishing characteristic of the presidential form of government is that the head of government is also the head of state, leading an executive branch but not a legislative one.

Examples: USA, France
a government in which the citizens elect representatives to a legislative branch and then in a separate election, citizens elect the executive branch
The separation of powers - though it might seem very clear in theory - does not automatically provide more effective checks and balances between parliament and government than in a Parliamentary Democracy.
they have government branches that share equal amount of power as well with the citizens. They also have a president.
The people elect or become representatives to the legislature who in turn elect members of the executive branch.
To allow both the executive branch, legislative branch and judicial branch to have separate functions; checks and balance of power
To prevent any branch of government from becoming too powerful due to the specific separation of powers. That is the purpose of a presidential democracy
All the brances are even. They have the same amount of power.
U.S.A. has three branches of government in which they all share equal power. The three branches are legislative, executive, and judicial. The president is in the executive branch.
