People who are the rulers in an oligarchy country are usually rich.
Countries that have an oligarchy government are China, North Korea, Venezuela, and former Soviet Union.
A small group or clique who control a country.
These rulers are usually selfish and do run the country doing as they please not thinking about the people having justice.
It's not good for the group to make all decisions at the same time.
The Iron Law of Oligarchy states that organization or society will eventually become an oligarchy because the people who know how to succeed will gain an advantage.
The word "oligarchy" was originated from ancient Greece.
It gets harder and harder for more and more people to join the group or clique ruling as knowledge increases
The people in the group are most likely going to be people similar to each other.

Some countries that have an Oligarchy are Venezuela, North Korea, China, and former Soviet Union.
A form of government in which all power is vested in a few persons or in a dominant class or clique; government by the few.
People in an Oligarchy usually get their power from either military, wealth, or social status.
Most of the time, the basis for someone to hold office in an oligarchy is whether or not they belong to the wealthy ruling class. So, if a woman is a member of such class, she has the option and potential to have a position in the government.
Oligarchies were common throughout ancient Greece.o
Right after the Dark Ages, most of the city-states in Greece were oligarchies, between about 1000 and about 500 BC.
In the Middle Ages, the cities of northern Italy - Genoa, Florence, Venice - were ruled by groups of rich people.
South Africa's oligarchy rule known as apartheid ended in 1994 when Nelson Mandela became president.
