There executive branch only had a president (dictator) The former dictator Fidel Castro was elected using military force. Elections are held in Cuba but they only have one candidate

Cubans 16 and over must vote and they only can vote for candidates selected by the government

A unitary government is ruled by only one person/ruler.

The central government gets all the power.

The ruler makes all the rules.

Examples of a Unitary government are France, Spain, Sweden, U.K, and former U.S.S.R.

Central government has most power but gives it to the regional governments. There is only one ruler. Cuba is an example of a unitary government.

A big thing is that the government also gives little power to the local/regional governments.

In a unitary government there is basically no say in who is leader. It all depends in what country your in for human rights. There is Cuba who doesn't give those rights and The United Kindom who does give their people rights.
