The Events of the Revolution
Sam Adams
Born: September 27th, 1722 Death:October 2nd, 1803
Samuel Adams was born on 27 September 1722 in Boston which was a part of the British colony of Massachusetts to parents, Samuel Adams, Sr., and Mary Adams. Samuel was born in a family of 12 children to parents who were strict Puritans and went to the Old South Congregational Church as members of the Church.
He was a governor and statesmen.
He strongly opposed British laws and helped formulate a resistance against the British taxes mostly he stamp act. He helped organize the Boston Tea Party.
He urged a final break form them in the war by finally signing the Declaration of Independence.
He chose colonists because he opposed the laws and he chose a group to try and protest against them and that is when the Boston Tea Party occurred.

Taxes were harsh new laws on the colonists
Protests had turned violent(Boston Massacre, and Boston Tea Party).
The continental congress was formed to see what to do about Great Britain.
The second was held for the Declaration of Independence and they ended up signing it and sending it to Great Britain.
Paul Revere's night ride, On the evening of April 18, 1775, Paul Revere was summoned by Dr. Joseph Warren of Boston and given the task of riding to Lexington, Massachusetts, with the news that regular troops were about to march into the countryside northwest of Boston.Once he warned them that is when the battle of Lexington and Concord had happened.
Causes of the Revolution
They taxed the colonists after the French and Indian war making the colonists upset and ultimately resulted in war.
They imposed strict control over trade so they could not trade with whoever the King got to choose.
Colonists were forced to obey laws even if they were out of their rights which they thought was unfair.
Had no vote in parliament which meant the colonists did not have a say in the laws.
The deal made between the British and the colonists.
This document put lines between the nations and made United States its own nation. The United States also got all of the land from the British and they can now use that land.
Advantages
They knew the land a lot better than England.
They knew how to fight in the woods and understood the terrain much better
The colonists could communicate quicker
They were closer to there government making communication quicker, and more efficient.
They fought for their home Britain did not
Gace the colonists more strength, the British did not really care and the British were fighting away from their own home not for it making them not fight as hard for their own rights or freedom.
