A poor Welsh boy made good who became a brilliant lawyer and clever talker and he was known to be sneaky as times.
Priorities
Peace: He wants peace in Europe that will last!
Trade: This peace will allow Britain to rebuild its trade
The British Empire: He will take some of Germany's colonies if he gets the chance to expand its empire, to maintain control of the seas and to increase trade!
Home: He wanted to keep people at home happy
Navy: To safeguard Britain's naval supremacy
He wanted the agreement NOT to be too harsh and certainly NOT REVENGE as he wanted a compromise between everyone!
Relationship with people back home
People back home support him and will only be happy with a treaty that punishes Germany as they say things like: "Squeeze Germany like a lemon"
Relationship with the other two
He is annoyed by Wilson for saying that Britain should give freedom to its colonies. Clemenceau has already tried to hit him.

He thinks Lloyd George and Clemenceau are too selfish and that they are just trying to get good deals for their countries.But he on the other hand, is trying to make the world a safer place for democracy.
Priorities
Peace treaty: He wanted a peace treaty that will be fair as he wanted to end the war and not to crush Germany and expand his empire.
Democracy: He wanted to make the world as safer place for democracy
He wanted to involve the USA in the world politics a s a force for good. But the causalities in WW1 has horrified the Americans and therefore,people back home want to be free of Europe's problems
NOT to blame Germany for the War (War Guilt Clause) He thinks Germany should be punished NOT HUMILIATED!
Fourteen Points: He set out his aims in January 1918 in his fourteen points (a mixture of ideals and practical measures) which included: self determination (ability of small countries or colonies to rule themselves. He wanted people in Austro-Hungarian Empire to rule themselves in their own countries and to have a say in their own government. Disarmament: taking away the tools for war. League of Nations: an international police force to provide a way to prevent war and to sort out disputes without going to war. Freedom: He wanted freedom of the seas and the colonies. Free Trade: He wanted free trade.

He is under a lot of pressure to keep the people at home safe from any further German attacks and this means: "Crippling Germany"

He thinks Wilson is too idealistic. He does not trust Lloyd George. He thinks neither of them really care about France
Priorities
Security: He wanted future security for France from any German attack and he wanted NO LEAGUE OF NATIONS
Reparations: He wanted to take compensation or reparations from Germany fot the damage and destruction caused by the war!
Revenge and Punishment: He wanted revenge on Germany as a defeated army and punish Germany for the damage and destruction caused by the war.They also wanted to weaken Germany for many yeras.
Colonies: He wanted to take some of German's colonies and he wanted Germany broken up into smaller states
Invasion: He wanted to get back France's invaded areas of the country (Alsace-Lorraine)
Military: He wanted Germany military destroyed so it wouldn't attack France again and wanted no German armed forces on France's border
War: He wanted to blame Germany for starting the war (War Guilt Clause) so that it would pay.
Independency: He wanted and independent Rhineland.
