Why, How and What
Why
I want to build a world where disabled people can achieve their career dreams and ambitions, and not be constrained by attitudinal or physical barriers that prevent them getting into and staying in work.
I want to build a world where we can't believe we once accepted that some groups of people were less likely to get employment and had to use quotas and other affirmative action to try and address the imbalance.
Business sees people with different backgrounds, perspectives and experience as a critical business asset, not an awkward challenge best avoided.
I want businesses to see disabled people as a valuable asset, bringing different perspectives and thinking to their company, and not seeing them through the lens of charity or corporate social responsibility.
I want businesses to understand that a flexible and inclusive workplace fosters an engaged, productive and reliable workforce in general, not just making it a better place for disabled people.
What
I do this by providing consultancy services to organisations to help them understand barriers facing disabled people and remove them.
I can do this because I have In depth understanding of disability as it impacts business and what's needed to create an inclusive workplace

I therefore help companies create workplaces where people can be themselves, be engaged and be brilliant at what they do.
