The people didn't agree with the Kings choices

They didn't agree with the taxes or the amount of taxes the king was collecting

People thought they were wasting there money because they were paying for the army but the army wasn't winning

They thought Catholics were evil
They had been Protestant for a long time they didnt want to change
He put Buckingham in charge of the attack of Spain
He arrived with too short a ladders and the Spanish just laughed at them
The English citizens had to pay to keep Newcastle as most of the Kings money was from the taxes they payed
Because of all the bad decisions he made the people wanted a new king
Parliament wanted a new king as he kept shutting them down
The king believed in 'DIVINE RIGHTS' therefore didn't listen to parliament
Parliament didnt like not being listened to so wanted a new king who would listen to him
The King was charging Shipping tax to everyone not just people who lived on the coast
