        this quote suggests that you will gain eternal life when you reach heaven

        As Catholics see purgatory is a place of judgement in which they stand before god this quote helps then support this ideology. as it depicts an idea that you should stand before Christ and be judged.

        This quotes suggests that by admitting what you have done wrong then you will be forgiven and saved, maybe from hell.
