Eisenhower acted in portraying america in a positive way such as throwing the first pitch on April 18,1960 at the Senators vs Red Sox game

Eisenhower sent troops to Little Rock in Arkansas, sent troops to Beirut to aid the Lebanese government, and also sent troops to aid Nationalist China which was losing the civil war with Communist China
