Strikes/Labor Unions during 1920's
Labor unions weakened Open Shop System and Welfare Capitalism
There were many strikes during this time period. They include Boston Police Strike, U.S. Steel Strike, Coal Miners Strike, John L. Lewis.
Immigrants proved a threat to the Americans. They thought that immigrants were taking away jobs and money of the united states.
Nativism is a policy of favoring native inhabitants as opposed to immigrants

The palmer raids where Mitchell Palmer organizing the arrest and deportation of people accused of being communist radicials. Mitchell palmer was the attorney general of the united states from 1919-1921.
Sacco and Vanzetti was italian american men who where convicted of robbery and murder. The trial was not fair because almost every argument against them was disproven during court but the fact that they known radicals prejudiced the jury against them. They where denied appeals and where eventually sentenced to death via electric chair 7 years later.
