Differentiated/Personalized Learning and Technology and the Common Core
Mindmap
Differentiated Instruction
Learning about differentiated instruction while using mindmap help me to research each part of content, process, product, and learning environment when it is related to the student learning development.
As student are learning, it is important to understand how they are capable of learning. Therefore, teachers should ensure the students in a classroom be taught a lesson that meets their growth, while being providing unique learning tools. The teacher needs to provide assessments that matches the student's learning ability in a classroom setting that promotes their growth.
Reflection
Mindmap has been a part of multiple instructional lessons throughout my educational process, therefore it was insightful to complete my own submission on differentiated instruction.
Technology Integration
Common Core Standards
Students learn differently based on how their teachers are providing the information. When it comes to common core standards, a teacher in the east coast will instruct their students the same way a student in the west coast and/or any part of the world. The reason behind common core is many students relocate within different parts of the world and lose valuable instruction as the school system is either advance or under advance in their learning instruction.
When providing instruction to students it is important to allow students to view visual content while they are learning. Students are able to retain information through visual content versus lecture and/or reading materials.
Reflection
Common core has always been key point when instructing students. As common core is an important factor with teaching students, I personally do not view common core as a strength in students learning as it is not gear for all students with learning disability. But when completing the assignment for the course, I was capable of instructing students with special education within the lesson to allow them to understand the material.

Comprehending
Thoughts
The purpose of close reading is to engage students in instructional reading material while allowing them to think beyond the passage to connect to their real-life situation and/or something they are interested in learning.
Reflection
When working on the close reading assignment, It allow me to understand how students are able to comprehend material through instructional lesson. As a early educator, I had minimum difficulties completing the assignment as I wanted to ensure the students were able to understand the information provided by my interactive activity. I did not complete the assignment as instructed by the professors, but I did implement my unique learning styles in the lesson.
Text to audio
Reflections
When working on the text to audio assignment, the trouble I had was finding the most accurate device that would help in future instruction. Even when completing the assignment, I still believe I can improve on my development of text to audio.
Text to audio is a software which allows teachers to provide instructional information to students who learn through audio, lecture, and visual.
