Consequences of WWII
Germany's tank production was lower than those of the Allies, so they weren't able to have as stable of an income of weaponry
During WWII, the British had a specific strategy to target the cities since without factories and cities, soldiers wouldn't be able to have access to supplies
This was also a psychological battle since armies would have to worry about the health of their families back at home who were being targeted
Civilians in general were the ones who lost the most lives; However in terms of countries, China lost the most amount of civilians, while Russia lost the most amount of military personnel as well as people overall
There were so many deaths in Asia since the U.S. had to bomb them twice in order to get Japan to surrender, the government had told civilians to kill themselves in order to avoid being tortured by the Americans, and when Japan had taken over part of China, they had used terror to keep the civilians in control
It was a lot harder for Germany to rebuild their country after the war since they were significantly smaller

Why did U.S. bomb Japan?
To get the Japanese to surrender, they drop 2 powerful bombs
The Japanese government had told it's people to kill themselves in order to avoid being tortured by the Americans
Americans wanted to stop the Japanese from committing suicide, and the only way it was going to work, was if they got Japan to surrender
The U.S. were able to make more materials than Japan since they had all the natural resources needed; However whatever Japan had started with, was all the materials that they would have for the duration of the war
The Japanese were surprised when U.S. declared war on them since they thought that the Americans wouldn't want to fight or get involved due to their isolation state
When the Japanese surrender, they decide to get rid of their army to avoid turning their people to terrorists; Part of the deal is that the U.S. have to defend them if they ever are attacked
