How a bill becomes a law
Step one: the bill is introduced in the House of Representatives
A representative goes to the house and introduces the law they would like to make.
Step two: the bill is sent to the representatives committee.
when the bill gets looked a the committee must look over the bill.
Which means the house is choosing to let the bill go to the president or not in the long run.
Step three: House of Representatives commitee Votes.
Step four: the bill is debated on the House of Representatives Floor.
Which means it goes up against all the other bills that want to be laws and they debate on which bill will be the best to make a law.
Step nine:the bill is debated on the senate floor.
which means that iit could make the bill into a law faster or it could declince the bill.
Step 10: Senate votes
This is the final step befor being sent to the president.
step 11: the bill is sent to the president
this is where bill can turn into a law or go all the back to the House of Representatives to be revoted on,
Step eight: senate committee votes.
this determines if the bill will get to the floor.
Step five: the House of Representatives votes on the bill
Which means the bill the house voted for gets to go to the senate
Step six: the bill is introduced to the senate
Which means the senators get their opinion on the bill .
Step seven: the bill is sent to the senate committee
which means they decide or look over the bill and see if it qualifies to be a law, before going to the senate floor.
