Anschluss with Austria
On March 1938, Hitler wanted all German speaking nations in Europe to be a part of Germany. To this end, he had designs on re-uniting Germany with his native homeland. Under the Treaty of Versailles however Germany and Austria are forbidden to be unified.
On March 15, 1939, German troops marched into Czechoslovakia. They took over Bohemia, and established a protection over slovakia. Hitler's invasion of Czechoslovakia was the end of appeasement. IT proved that Hitler had been lying at Munich.
Russia
Stalin and HItler agreed to this pact which opens Hitler to invade Poland without fear of Soviet attack, this invasion is the trigger for WWII.
To keep Hitler appeased all this time, Stalin's Russia provided Germany with large quantities of war materials and even operational support services to assist the German war effort.
On June 22, 1941, Germany, together with its allies (Finland, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Italy), invaded Russia in a surprise attack.
Stalin planned to send a million troops against Hitler if Britain and France sign a pact.
International
Abyssinia Invasion: The League is dead
Its a crisis between the Kingdom of Italy and Empire of Ethiopia in 1935.
The League of Nations ruled against Italy and voted for economic sanctions, but they were not fully applied. Italy ignored the sanctions, quit the League, and established controls over Ethiopia.
The Wall Street Crash is the start of the Great Depression. This has helped dictators to rise to power such as Hitler and to use it to stand again other nations.

Britain
The Treaty of Versailles
The Big Three and Germany was going to sign to a treaty in Versailles. The Big Three are David lloyd George(Prime Minister of Britain), Georges Clemenceau (the Prime Minister of France) and Woodrow Wilson (President of America).
David Lloyd George wanted Germany to pay because he knew that it would satisfy the british. He didn't want revenge but justice and stated that peace should not be harsh however this cause another war in a few years later.
George Clemenceau wanted revenge and to punish the Germans for what they had done. He wanted to make Germany to pay for the damage done during the war and to weaken them economically and militarily so that France would not be invaded again.
President Woodrow Wilson of the US did not agree with the others Allies. He wanted a peace treaty based on justice, not bitterness. He believed that would produce a lasting peace.
Neville Chamberlain who was British prime minister from 1937 to 1940 and is know for his policy "appeasement" toward Adolf Hitler's Germany.
He signed the Munich Agreement in 1938, giving a region of Czechoslovakia to the Nazis.
The Great Depression
The 1930s economy was marked by the effects of the great depression. After experiencing a decade of economic stagnation in the 1920, the UK economy was further hit by the sharp global economic downturn in 1930-31. This lead to higher unemployment and widespread poverty.May 13, 2013
The Great Depression
The disaster began in the United States of America, the leading economy in the world. The American stock exchange is in the city of New York in a building on Wall Street. The Wall Street stock exchange collapsed in 1929 and the American economy collapsed with it. This event was known as the Wall Street Crash, and was the start of the Great Depression.
