Chapter One
Plot
In chapter one, a plane crashes with a bunches off boys on a deserted island. Piggy and Ralph plan what they are going to do. Ralph blows on a concha and all kinds of boys come out of the woods. Some of the boys go to explore the island and come to the conclusion that they are on a island.

Plot
The rule is made that the you can only talk when you have the conch. Jack thinks the rules are good, but he also thinks he doesn't have to listen to them. A boy talks about the snake monster. The boys started a rescue fire and it burned a bunch of the island down.

Jack went hunting for a pig. Ralph and Simon try to create a shelter. Ralph and Jack discuss what is important or what's not. Simon goes to his special place.

The boys killed a pig. They saw a ship. The rescue fire went out because nobody was tending to the fire.

They ate fruit. Simon said Ralph will get back alright. Simon went to check on Piggy. Jack, Simon, and Roger went to the top of the mountain and saw the beast.
