BLACK HOLES
How it interacts with light
The light goes to the center of black hole
light get sucked in
light cant slow down
we cant see the light once it goes in the black hole
the gravity of the black hole bends light
the black hole absorbs the light
definitions
a region of space having a gravitational field so intense that no matter or radiation can escape.
How it interacts with matter
all matter next to it goes into it
even planets go in
even suns get absorbed by it
planets
is able to eat jupiter
able to eat earth
and pluto would be sucked in so fast it would be a blur
stars
gas giants
can consume white dwarfs
can absorb supernovas
Characteristics of a black Hole
they have a lot of gravitational pull
they are a circle shape
they are gigantic
always have color around them
its black
How black holes are formed
Stellar black holes form when the center of a very massive star collapses in upon itself. This collapse also causes a supernova, or an exploding star, that blasts part of the star into space. Scientists think supermassive black holes formed at the same time as the galaxy they are in.
