The last year of high school is very important
There are three types of high school
Private Schools
about 3,000 private schools in Germany
have longer school days
Realschule
Kids are at a mid-level job in business
Graduate after 6 years of school
After that they have several choices
School holidays in Germany
Students ahve a total of 11 weeks off from school
Gymnasium
It is where the kids go to have Physical Education
Children from ages 12 to 19 have to have the class
Berufskollegs
16 to 19 year olds undertake a range of work related
they also start being a apprentice to learn how to work
German School Hours
School goes on for 5 hours
There are many activities after school
There is a charge when activities happen on school grounds
Hauptschule
have 5 years of elementary school
they also learn english
Gesamtschule
join students with different skills
lasts about 2 years
