German school hours
german school hours are ussulay from 8:00 till 1:00 oClock
There is after school
Their is clubs and sports clubs after School
Gymnasium
A quarter of thre kids do gymnasium
School Holidays in Germany
one week of Autum vacation
@ weeks of christmas vacation
6 weeks of summer vacation
2 weeks of spring vacation/easter
Realschule
1 quarter of children attend realschule
Prepares them for a mid grade job in society
Teaches them the basic subjects
can be transfered to a gymnasium if grades are good enough
there is no summer school
Can retake the whole year again twice if the fail
Hauptschule
The last year of Elementry School
Teaches basic skills including one foreign language
Can also learn English
After this schoo, they can go to an vacational school which can last atleast 2 years.
last age 12-18 or 19
Required for anyone planning a tertiary Education
International school is germany
Also another exception in the whole system
These are tough in English
Berufskolleges
Berufskolleges Normmaly hold ages between 16 and 19
Some classes go up to 23
studies ussualy related to an apprenticeship
gesamtschule
This is a school were all student of abilities can go
Can take their final exam here
Private schools
This is the one exception to the whole system here
School hours here are gennerally longer
