The patriots won mostly I think because of the ‘Midnight Ride’. If Paul Revere hadn’t told the people about the raid, the Patriots wouldn't have many supplies needed for a war. They would have ammo, no guns, no mortars, not much of anything. And you can't really win a war without guns, or ammunition. And before the British could seize the supplies the Patriots took them away. Even worse for the British, all the important people the wanted were all gone.
