Short, and long term effects
Some short term effects of tobacco is a increase in blood pressure, and increase of heart rate, and an increase of blood low from the heart.
Long term effects consist of chronic lung disease, coronary heart disease, and strokes.

Effects of smoking when pregnant can cause the baby to be born too early or have low birth weight. The more the mother smokes the more the baby will more likely be sick. Smoking also could kill the baby.
Some tobacco chemicals consist of acetone, acetic acid, ammonia, arsenic, benzene, butane, cadmium, carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, hexamine, naphthalene, methanol, nicotine, tar, and toluene.
Smoking affects the body in bad ways. Smoking damages your lungs, and increases the chance for lung cancer. If you have asthma and you smoke, you can frequently have more heart attacks. Smoking also cause more than normal coughing.
