Baylor University
Baylor University is a private university located in Waco,TX. The acceptance rate is 44%, and the undergrad tuition fees 39,610.
If I went to Baylor University, I feel as if I would have a good time there. I would be sort of nervous to go to Baylor, because I’m not home but not that nervous because home is not that far.
If I plan on going into the medical field Baylor is the right place to go, because of all of the majors that they offer relating to medicine, not just biology.
If I plan on being an engineer, I don’t believe Baylor is the right college for me to go to, because they do not have many engineering degrees.
Attending Baylor University, would give me the possibility of becoming a PT or Physician, because of the different programs and majors that they offer.
Overall, If I attend Baylor University, I want to major in biology or kinesiology and succeed through college and then become either a physician or PT.
Florida A&M University
FAMU is located in Tallahassee, Florida, and is a HBCU. FAMU has an acceptance rate of 49% and has a 18,000 dollar out of state tuition.
I feel like, if I want a whole new experience and a new environment to be in for my college career FAMU would be a good college to go to.
FAMU has both engineering and biology majors, so I have the option of being an engineer or go into the medical field. The tuition is also not as expensive as other schools.
FAMU does not have as much of variety of sciences, as Baylor does.
Attending FAMU would give me possibilities, like being able to be an engineer, because of the different engineering degrees they offer.
Overall, If I attend FAMU I would either pursue a biology degree or an engineering degree, and I would want to take the most out of my college experience.
