Hallucinogen
a drug that confuses the senses and distorts perception of sight/sound/smell/taste eg magic mushrooms, LSD

Stimulant
speed up nervous system eg caffeine, nicotine, cocaine, decrease your reaction times by increasing the number and speed at which nerve impulses travel across the synapse (neurotransmitters).
Depressant
slow down nervous system eg alcohol, cannabis, increase your reaction times by decreasing the number and speed at which nerve impulses travel across the synapse (neurotransmitters).
