Thesis Hypothesis
- We know that the fuel-oxidant ratio does have an effect on the particles form. What we do know:
- It affects the burning (flame) temperature
-
- Fuel-Oxidant ratio affects the type of burning (flame type) that occurs
-
- We know that the type of fuel has on effect on the particles.
- Fuel type affects the type of burning (flame type) that occurs

Hypotheses
- That SCS + IWI is a better method of producing CeO2 based catalysts than SCS including the metal precursors, since the method only affects the structure of morphology of the support, and does not influence the metal deposition (sintering, alloy formation, metal segregation, defects in lattice due to metal inclusion in the lattice structure, and therefore the better control of the dispersion of the catalytically active metal sites can be achieved

Questions:
- What is the effect of different ceria pre-cursors on the formation of just the support structure?
