Literacy
NLCPS heavily involved in the development and monitoring of the LEA's literacy strategy. NLCPS role in integrating resaerch evidence into strategy and develop tracking and monitoring systems

recent stakeholder feedback identified need for additional support for children with literacy difficulties and as a result has been a key improvement theme for NLCPS/Lit base
Mechanisms in place to monitor impact of this professional development opportunity. Short term feedback is positive but more work required to embed longer term change
Data highlighted need for alterations to early level and NLCPS is working with Lit base on this. It is in the pilot stage.

Evaluations show robust short and medium term impact at the level of the participant (increased confidence and knowledge),changes in professional practices and system level changes (improved ASN planning and transition practices) within schools.
NLCPS is in the initial stages of gathering implementation dat to further investigate the challenges reported by the ASD links and the variation of impact within schools in order to inform next steps
