I would like to move into an IS field with a business background.
I must pass CISA and prove to work im capable, but i should also study something else in the meantime.
Peter Bouhlas highly recommends Data Analytics. I believe this would help me alot with my current work. It may however not help get me a position in an IS field.
For Data Analytics - 2 choices - University or Microsoft course. Financially, the Microsoft course is cheaper however it may not be as recognised as a uni degree. I think if completing this, during any potential job interviews id have to be able to prove my abilities learnt.
As i have to complete CISA in the May/June cycle, i do no want to overburden myself with too much study.
My current study goal is to start studying for CISA asap, using the review book and online questions database. I will not perform any uni study during this time. I need to decide and also work a bit on CS50 and CSX to pass the foundations exam. Furthermore will start the RIT cybersecurity micromasters program.
I have high interest in the Microsoft data course, i will keep an eye out on new schedules to determine if it is worth studying before and after in the April to June period.
Will decide after bali about other study, however will focus on CISA for the time being.
