Range Controls - Strategic Direction Discussion
CE Current
Manually controlled Range frameworks (framework data manulally fed into Planograms as against OM systems which do it in UK and other Iregions
Prone to Error
Constant need for correction
System workarounds in place
Poses challenge to SSPOGs process adherence expectations
Very similar processs to UK
UK - Current
Driver of current & future design and developments
One way of working requires that we have a clear UK strategy
Because International rollouts trail on the heels of UK
Any shift in UK design needs to be considered for International rollout planning
Are we moving away from CRDB/Range controls?
Automated ranges plan?
Automated templates is based on what JDA version
RPP / Android?
current/Future design tightly integrated with UK ways of working and OM systems
Is CRDB a strategic system on the Tech roadmap
Yes
No effect on TH, MY plans
Major impact on CE SSPOG rollout
CE adapts their WoW
Advantages: Ready for future developments, Alignment with UK/Int OM, System based processes and not manually driven, Better control & governance
Disadvantages: Will need to unravel all proceses, Learning curve for teams, Program needed to deploy Range controls in CE, Potentially less flexible than the current CE WoW
Tech develops a workaround
Advantages: CE current WoW can be maintained, Flexibility retained in the business to support other programmes, Less steep learning curve for the teams, Benefits of SSPOGs can be released early
Disadvantages: Future developments may prove to be a challenge to deploy, wasted Tech dev effort if exclusively done for CE, CE remains non-aligned with UK & other regions
No
What are the timelines for it to be decommissioned
What is it being replaced by
How does cureent system design get affected
What should be the cut off point for considering CRDB related benefits in Intternational
Do we need to redraw current Int rollout plans
