Canals: The Aztecs built causeways and canals for transportation to and from the city. A causeway is a raised road that allowed the people to easily travel over the swampy and wet areas.
Temples: Aztec temples were called, by the Mexica people of the empire, Teocalli - god houses. The priests of the Aztec religion went to these temples to worship and pray

Aztec Culture
Games: The most popular game they played was a board game called Patolli. They moved their players around by rolling dice like modern day board games. Another popular game was Ullamalitzli. This was a ball game played with a rubber ball on a court. The players had to use their hips, shoulders, heads, and knees.
Family: In a family, the husband would usually have a job outside of the home as a farmer, a warrior, or a craftsman. The wife would work at home cooking food for the family and weaving cloth for the family's clothes. The kids would go to school or help around the house.The family structure is very important to the Aztecs. If the family was wealthy, they would live in sun dried brick.
Clothing: The Aztec men wore lioncloth and long capes. The Aztec women wore long skirts and blouses. It was a responsibility of the women to make clothes.Only nobles could were decorations like feathers. The emperor was the only person allowed to wear a turquoise cloak.

Another help for the Spanish to conquer the Incas was the fact that Pizarro invited Atahualpa to a meeting and kidnapped him.
A third help to the fall of the Inca empire was that the Incas were threatened for the first time.

One last help of the fall of the Inca empire was that Pizarro had horses and guns and other advanced technology that shocked the Incas.

What did Pizzaro do to him? Pizzaro invited him to a meeting and told him to bring 5000 men but Pizzaro attacked Atahualpa and captured him.
How did he die? Pizzaro captured and executed Atahualpa.

Inca Culture
Clothing: If you were a boy at the age of fifteen you got a loincloth Headbands and headdresses, belts, and woven bags were often the distinguishing differences in native attire. Members of each ethnic group or conquered state in the empire were required to wear their own distinctive native clothing. This made it possible for Inca officials to determine an individual's origins upon sight and to make sure that no one wandered into forbidden new territory.
Food: Food
The common people of the Inca empire usually ate two meals each day—one in the morning and one in the late afternoon. They usually ate outside. Their diet included far more vegetables than meat. The only meat they were likely to eat was guinea pig, dog, or duck meat. Occasionally the peasants ate llama.
Family: The Ayllu was what the Inca called their villages. Everybody who was born into the Ayllu mostly lived their entire lives within the borders of that town. Each person had their own farm land and homes, but the people did not own their own land. Houses varied from region to region, but overall they were not places where families spent much time, except to sleep or to escape wet weather. Most houses consisted of one dark, rectangular room with no windows.
