Powers of the executive branch are the same as the president's because the president runs the executive branch! (signing or vetoing bills, to coin money)
The process of overriding a veto is that when the president gets a bill. He/she can decide to sign it and make it into a new law or to veto it. But if congress gets 2/3 of a vote the bill can become a law.

How is the number of senators chosen?
The way senators are chosen are being voted directly by the voters of their states.
How are the House of Representative members chosen?
They are chosen by meeting certain expectation which are, you must be 25 years or older, been a citizen for 7 years and you must live where he or she is chosen. Then it is up to the voters off that state.
Amending the Constitution
Congress must meet and decide to amend the constitution or not. Congress must have 2/3 of the vote to change it
