He thought that Hernan Cortez was a god, so he welcomed him to his kingdom
He was killed by a rock thrown from protesters
Montezuma was the emperor of the Aztecs at the time of their fall

Montezuma welcomed hernan cortes
Cortes had guns, the Aztecs have never seen them before
The Aztec neighbors dd not like them, so they helped kill them
Montezuma had never seen horses before either

The Aztecs Also invented a board game called Patoli
In both games betting was very common, but in Patoli, betting was the game
The Aztecs Invented a game called Ullamaliztili, which is a lot like basketball
Another game they had was called pole-climbing, where youths had to be the first to the top of the pole to get goodies
Another game the Aztecs invented was totoluqoue, a well known gambling game still played in casinos today

The Aztecs only relied on what they could hunt or grow
The Aztecs Ate Uncooked corn straight off the cobb and used the cobbs in soup they called pozole.
The Aztecs also ate a variety of fruits and veggies to support their active lifestyle
The Aztecs also ate beans, because like corn had lots of protien
Clothes
In Aztec Culture Women only wore sleeveless blouses and wrap-around skirts
Nobles(the rich or important) wore brightly dyed cotton clothes decorated with gold or feathers(sometimes gold feathers)
The poor wore old, raggedy clothes and slaves wore pretty much nothing at all
Nobles only wore bright clothing for attention, just like real celebretities
The army men were the best looking of them all, they wore precious metals and feathered plumes
Tenochititlan
The Middle of the city was called tepan, where the two principle temples were located
They used aqueducts supplied fresh water from a nearby spring they called Chalpultepec
The Aztecs had little land around them so they created false islands to grow crops on, called floating gardens
Another group of Aztecs settled on the nearby island called Talettetloco
Tenochtitlan was founded on a lake that filled the basin of mexico

The Aztecs built temples and pyramids in high numbers
The largest pyramid was the Templo mayor temples that still stand today
They're architecture was very different to the architecture today, they mixed colors and symbols that helped make it unique
The Aztecs built pyramids and temples as a way to get closer to their gods
Most Aztec culture relied heavily on the stars and religion, so much that even if a temple was made for one specific god, a lot of the other gods are carved into the stone as well
Inventions
The Aztecs practiced an advanced form of medicine called antispasmatic, which was helpful during surgery
The Aztecs first got the idea of gum from the Mayans, but then they improved it
They also invented a game called valodor, where 6 men tied ropes to their waists and tried to fly around a pole
The Aztecs also invented chocolate but it was diffrent than it is today, because back then it aws introduced as a tarter bitter drink
the Aztecs first introduced popcorn into the public, and the spanish were very surprised by this

Pizzaro
Pizzaro was from spain
He came looking for fame and fortune, just like montezuma
Conquering
Pizzaro Outsmarted the incas
Pizzaro had guns and horses
Their king was dead
Pizzaro had the help of smallpox and other diseases
Atawhalpa
Pizzao tricked atawhalpa and kidnapped him
To let Atahualpa go he demanded that the incas fill a room up with gold
Atatawhalpa was emperor of the Incas at the time of their fall
Once Pizarro got the gold he executed Atahualpa anyway
Machu Pichu
It is a symbol of the incan empire
Machu Pichu is 7,000 feet above sea level
Machu Pichu is the most visited spot in peru
It was built in 1450AD
named one of the seven wonders of the world in 2007
Inca Culture
Games
The ball was 6 inches thick and somewhat hard
No one knows if it was the losers or the winners who got sacrificed
The players could not use their hands
the bal was the same size as a baket ball hoop[ and 27 feet of the ground
The inca also played Tlachtli which was a combinantion of soccer and basketball
Clothing
The family of that men usually wore headbands and/or headdresses
They also wore garments made of alpaca or llama wool
only women wore vicuna wool
Men of low rank wore knee length tunics and grass shoes
women wore ankle lenghth skirts and grass shoes
Food
Their best delicacy was Fried guinea pigs
They had no cows or pigs or tukey
They drank llama milk and water
Occasionally they ate llamas or alpaca
The Incas main diet were potatoes and corn
