The imperialism in China, first started, because of the trade conflict between China and Britain. The imperialism was not justified, because the imperialism could have been easily avoided. In the beginning of the trade, instead of the British demanding too much their silk or other material, they could have starting with a smaller deal that they could pay for. They could have avoided such conflicts by making trades that were more manageable. Also, because of this small conflict, is caused another lead of events that also could have been avoided. Therefore, the conflict and or the imperialism in China, was not justified.
