Seven Roles of the President
Chief Executive
The president is the boss of millions of government worker (executive branch only) she/he decides how the laws should be enfored
Example: The President appoints a new judge once another judge is deceased.
Chief Legislator
This is where the President pass new laws or vetos them
Example: Inviting members of Congress to lunch in the White House
Economic Planner
The president is connected with things such as unemployment, high prices, taxes, business profits, and the prosperity of the county
Examples: Meeting with other countries
Chief Leader
Chief Diplomat
The President decides what American diplomats and ambassadors say of foreign government.
Example: Traveling to London to meet with British leaders.
Chief of State
The role of the President is to be an inspiring leader for the American people, just like kings and queen in other countries.
Example: The President represents the U.S at offiical functions like meeting with other countries (peacefully)
Commander in Chief
The President is in charge of U.S.armed forces
Examples: Inspecting a Navy yard
