- - - - ESl programs is the most efficeint way to integrate their background culture and the new language in order to learn faster.
      - Students are supposed to spend at least three years in the program before getting out. This program has phases where the student will learn how to write, read and comprehend English as the second language.
  - - - This helps students be confident in their language and learn english at the same time.
- - - - Since the chapter discusses the gap that forms in the earlier education systems, iin the articule "But that's just good teaching" they create the student's cultural competence in order to create the integrity needed to keep moving forward. Also helpeing the other students by having a positive impact , instead of just being ostracized by the other students.
  - - - Although this phenomenon may be difficult to change. I feel as though it is worth trying to change in hopes to close the education gap for minority students
- - - - I think they way one sgould aproach a male and female student may be different sometimes. Not beacuse don't have the same level or capcity to learn, but beacuse They might need a different prospective on the materials.
      - I belive that gender should not matter when it comes to learning,.
        
        Student perform in different ways, and educators should adapt acconding to that. Not just based on gender, but on the different needs the student has.
    - - This affects how engaged students may or may not be in a particular lesson.
