ISTE Standards for teachers
Facilitate and Inspire Student Learning and Creativity
-Teachers combine technology and their own knowledge in order create experiences that engage students in creative digital thinking that will advance student learning.
Design and Develop Digital Age Learning Experience and Assessments
-Teachers will create learning environments in which technology will play a role, students diversity will be taken into account, and provide assessments which align with technology standards.
Promote Model Digital Age work and Learning
-Teachers must understand how to fluently use technology systems and must demonstrate this knowledge to their community and also to their students in order to create student success.

Connected to professional learning because in both teachers should be confident with technology to create success
Promote and Model Digital Citizenship and Responsibility
-Teachers understand the responsibilities that come along with using technology, adhere to these responsibilities, and model these responsibilities to students and other community members.

Connected to students will demonstrate a moral and ethical approach to the use of technology because it is the responsibility of the teacher to make sure that the students learn a sense of digital citizenship.

-Teachers are role models which must demonstrate how to use technology tools and resources effectively and must also continue to grow their knowledge with the use of technology.

-Students use technology in order to create learning goals for themselves, specific learning environments, and to understand technology on a deeper level.

-Students will understand what it means and how to use technology safely and ethically.
