ISTE Standards for teachers
Facilitate and Inspire Student Learning and Creativity
-Teachers combine technology and their own knowledge in order create experiences that engage students in creative digital thinking that will advance student learning.
Design and Develop Digital Age Learning Experience and Assessments
-Teachers will create learning environments in which technology will play a role, students diversity will be taken into account, and provide assessments which align with technology standards.
Promote Model Digital Age work and Learning
-Teachers must understand how to fluently use technology systems and must demonstrate this knowledge to their community and also to their students in order to create student success.
Connected to professional learning because in both teachers should be confident with technology to create success
Promote and Model Digital Citizenship and Responsibility
-Teachers understand the responsibilities that come along with using technology, adhere to these responsibilities, and model these responsibilities to students and other community members.
Connected to students will demonstrate a moral and ethical approach to the use of technology because it is the responsibility of the teacher to make sure that the students learn a sense of digital citizenship.
Engage in Professional Growth and Leadership
-Teachers are role models which must demonstrate how to use technology tools and resources effectively and must also continue to grow their knowledge with the use of technology.

-Students use technology in order to create learning goals for themselves, specific learning environments, and to understand technology on a deeper level.
Connected to student-centered learning, in both concepts the quality of education for each individual child is key.
-Students will understand what it means and how to use technology safely and ethically.
connected to Promote an Model Digital Citizenship and Responsibility because the teachers must know how to be a digital citizen and teach this to their students.
-Students will understand how to construct knowledge and create meaningful learning experiences for themselves and others.
-Students understand how to use technology in order to solve problems and test solutions.
-Students use technology to solve problems by breaking them down into manageable steps and also to create new solutions for problems.

-Technology will be used to organize data and display it in a problem-solving context and to present and organize conclusions.

Student Will Organize and Manipulate Data
-Students will enter and manipulate data and design, create, and modify databases for specific reasons.
Connected to computational thinker because both involve using technology to solve problems
Students will use electronic research techniques to construct personal knowledge and meaning
-students will use software to demonstrate personal understanding and develop question which reflect personal informartion.
Connected to knowledge constructor because both are about personal meaning for each student within their learning experiences.
Students will demonstrate a basic understanding of the operating skills required in a variety of technologies
-students must perform basic computer operations which include executing programs, proper keyboarding techniques, and operating basic audio and video equipment.
