Amalgamation of unions
Definition
Refers to the merger of two separate trade unions, much like how two companies would merge with each other.
Legal step required
Fill up Form G, which can be downloaded from MOM website
Upon success, a new certificate and new number will be issued

President/Chairman
Head of the union, Oversee, Manage and Make decisions on the daily activities of the union
Secretary
The collective memory, Prepare minutes to every meeting
Treasurer
1) Responsible for the financial status and transactions
2) In charge of the disbursement of funds related to the union’s activities
3) In charge of the union’s accounts, bookkeeping and is directly responsible for the submission of the accounts to ACRA
General Members
Members who do not hold any special role, Hold democratic power, Are able to vote for the actions and Have the power to collectively influence the union’s actions.
