Student 1: Analytical
Teaching Strategy: Let student analyze primary texts and summarize them to class
Teaching Strategy: Let student give a personal lecture and have a discussion about the goals and methods of KKK
Teaching Strategy: Give the student a complex problem solving exercise in which they think of ways to assist freedmen and protect their rights.
Student 2: Creative
Teaching Strategy: Let student prepare a visual presentation that describes course content with colors and illustrations on a cardboard
Teaching Strategy: Introduce a role-playing exercise between creative students in which they act out the positions of freedmen and KKK activists
Learning Objective: Students can trace the rise of the Ku Klux Klan and their method of terrorizing freedmen to prevent them from obtaining and exercising their rights.

Student 1: Computer and Video Games
Teaching Strategy: Allow the student to upload his thinking notes on Class Dojo
Teaching Strategy: Let the student create a presentation of KKK history with a software of his choice
Student 2: Music
Teaching Strategy: The student researches and finds KKK songs and chants and either plays them in class or sings it out
Teaching Strategy: Student can create a rap song with lyrics dissing the KKK with historic details

Student 1: English Language Learner
Teaching Strategy: Provide bilingual explanations of course content and tell story in two languages
Teaching Strategy: Assist the student in interpreting the text and other materials in his or her language
Student 2: Advanced Capability
Teaching Strategy: Give the student a more challenging assignment such as researching primary materials or writing an essay on the topic
Teaching Strategy: Let the student prepare a lecture for his peers and/or involve her as a teaching assistant, so that she can learn by teaching
Teaching Strategy: Have the student read more complex texts outside of the textbook and give her extra readings with which we can discuss
