ISTE Standards for Students
Empowered Learner--
Set personal goals and develop strategies in how to incorporate technology to help gain knowledge. Understand the basics of technology and know what piece of technology would be best for certain tasks
Digital Citizen--
Understand both the opportunities, responsibility, and permanence in using technology and use technology in a positive and safe way. Know the obligations that come with using and sharing knowledge.
Knowledge Constructor--
Learn to use a variety of resources to expand knowledge about technology as a tool. Learn how to determine the validity of the information obtained via technology. Encourage oneself to obtain information about current events and the real world and critically think about problems and solutions.
Innovative Designer--
Think about different problems and use technology to aid oneself in looking for solutions by creating a design process. Use technology to help organize the design process in which calculations and such can be added. Test, make theories, and test conclusions about the design theory
Global Collaborator--
Use technology as a tool in enhancing and broadening one’s view about things. Use the digital world as a tool so as to connect with learners from all over the world and possibly be able to work on a project with peers through technology.

Student Learning and Creativity--
Encourage both creativity and innovation—using technology as a tool. Pushing students in understanding real life problems and solving genuine problems, allowing students to grow in all aspects and broadening their education
Promote and Model Digital Citizenship--
and Responsibility Teaching how to safely use technology as a tool for research. Encouraging awareness when using technology as a resource in a smart way. Making sure every student has the same opportunities in terms of technology use. Understand and work with colleagues to adapt to cultural c=differences such as Francophones
Engage in Professional Growth and Leadership--
Continuously growing and expanding our information and knowledge about technology. Taking initiative in infusing technology in the classroom, thus, guiding and encouraging other.
Design and Develop Digital Age Learning Experiences and Assessments--
Make lessons that will incorporate and infuse technology as tools and that will allow students to research the things that they are interested in. Give students different varieties of assessments, allowing them to get the most learning out of materials being taught
Model Digital Age Work and Learning --
Use technology such that the knowledge being taught is using technology in a connected way and be aware of new technologies that may be implemented in the classroom. Use technology as an aid to stay connected with students and their parents and collaborate with the parents and the community to enhance maximum growth and innovation for the students
