Factors Affecting Fitness
Age
As you grow older, your body starts lose flexibility, lose muscular strength and endurance. Your bones also become more brittle
Diet
An unhealthy diet can lead to weight gain, which slows the body down
Environment
Hong Kong has pollution, which can affect your respiratory system, therefore affecting your cardiovascular endurance
Posture (Build)
If you are muscular or have an athletic build rather than being slim, you may be more fit
Disabilities
Disabilities limit what you can do e.g movement
Illness
If you have previously had Illnesses, this can limit what you can do sports, as you may be physically unable to perform movements
Habits
Habits such as smoking can affect you respiratory system.
Physical Health
If you are physically healthy, you will be more attentive
Excercise
If you exercise regularly, you become more fit, and your resting heart rate is lower.
Stress
If you are stressed from factors such as school or work, you become more tired, and you become less fit
