Life after death
The focus in Judaism is on this life and how best to keep the commandments given by god. They believe this will be make god pleased and he will bless their lives .
To you, Lord I call, you are me rock do not turn a dear ear to me. For if you remain silent. I will be like those who go down to the pit.

- WE ARE ALL JUDGED AT THE END OF TIME THIS IS CALLED THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT.
Covenants
Abrahamic Covenant
The First covenant is very important because it makes out Abraham to be the first person who rejects all god. It also carries the promise of the land of Canaan for his decedents.
In the second covenant God promises children to and descendants more than the stars. He also promises the land of Canaan again.

Mosaic Covenant
The 10 commandments
- Moses - greatest prophet in Jewish history -still just a man - chosen to free jew
- Egypt - years after Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Joseph -> slavery
- Exodus - exit, most dramatic story - freedom
- Red sea- Moses and Hebrews fled Egypt Parting of the red sea
- Knowledge- Everyone respected Moses for his knowledge,wisdom and judgement he also mad mistakes
- Authority- Moses had Authority - leader among the people
- Ten commandments - Given to Moses by god on mount Sinai 40 days 40 nights
- Six hundred and three- Extra 603 rules were given by god to moses. Ex, Lev, Deut + Num.

Free Will and Mitzvot
Jews believe they have a God given free will as seen in Adam and eve where they were told not to eat from the tree but did. However what they choose to do with this free will can have consequences.

Sheol- a place for those who don't go immediately to heaven a place to be cleansed from sins.
