If you're practicing music connect it to yourself. Those who view themselves as musicians are more likely to succeed since it's a part of them

Always be conscious of your actions
Humans tend to be reactive to their environment which in the current era can be a disadvantage
Always be mindful of your actions
You hear a ring you check your phone. You see the TV and then want to watch Netflix.
Connect Behavior to Moral Values
We all have an idea of what our "ideal" self is
Strive to be that
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.
So when lazy acknowledge that this quality is a vice. It is not something desired and the only way to get rid of it is to get up and going
Broaden Your Vision
The reason why we procrastinate is because we want that short term satisfaction of being at peace. THIS IS NEVER WORTH IT
Once you recognize you're doing something you shouldn't thing more long term
If you pig out over food then consider the feeling you get at night. The feeling of disgust and self pity. Not to mention the fact that you need to now eat less and exercise more to make up for it

Giving advice comes off as preachy so you need to quit giving lectures
