The United States
Relations
-
The United States was willing to trade with any country during this time. Britain had set up a blockade on Germany, nothing was imported into Germany. America traded was with the Allies. The British borrowed from New York banks after the stocks were all thrown around.
Relations
We try to stay neutral. We are trading with Germany. Germany engaged in conflict over the Atlantic Ocean resulting in American casualties. Germany uses U-boat warfare to sink ships of ours holding trading supplies. We stop trading with them and they stop sinking ships. They eventually sink the Lusitania which is the last straw. The United States joined the Allied powers and goes to war.

We only have a financial relation with Russia. The United States gives Russia a lot of money and they need it. We don’t give them any arms.

France is a national allied with the United States. We give them troops and money. We give them the same things to France as we give to Great Britain.

We were trading with Austria-Hungary and then they start to attack use with U-boats and we cut them off in terms of trading.

Italy is a member of the triple alliance with Germany and Austria-Hungary. When the war breaks out they hold back for as long as possible until they get attacks from Austria-Hungary and then switch their side and enter the war. We do have a few trade relations.
