My Life Planning: Kamillah Danso
Family
Green Hat: In order to "help" the problem of my children not being get along with others, I can have them do activities that teach them how to work with others and help them understand that not everything is going to be handed to them, but that they'll have to work for the outcomes they want.
Black Hat: Reasons Having a Small Family is a Disadvantage:
The child or the children do not have the opportunity to become a well-rounded individual.
The child can become selfish and may not be able to learn the way to share.
The parents of that person may be too attentive to that one particular child and that causes the child to not be able to explore on their own.
Another disadvantage of having a small family is the child may experience a sense of loneliness because there isn't someone else they can talk to or form a bond with other than their parents.
Yellow Hat: The benefits of having a small family are, each child receives more attention and the financial cost isn't as high.
-Another benefit is the child can perform better in things such as edification.
-The parents themselves are benefitted as well because their expenses aren't as high as having a larger family.
-There's increased care for the child and reduced health risks.
White Hat: The financial cost of having a small family is less. At the same time there are downsides such as the child may experience loneliness and could be selfish because they don't have anyone to share and other things as such.
Red Hat: Having a small family seems the most ideal and not as straining as having a larger family. On the other hand I don't my child or children to feel as though everything is going to be handed to them or that they don't have to work for anything. This is a fear because my child or children may not know how to share things and may come into conflict with other people.
Blue Hat: My goal or the big picture is to have a small family and only two kids maximum.
Finances
Blue Hat: My goal or the big picture is to live in either Southlake, Texas or Los Angeles, California because these are the places I would like to live and spend majority of my life.
Green Hat: A solution to living in the house that I would like is living in a nice apartment first, so that way I can save my money and make sure I have enough money to provide and purchase the house that I want and where I want it.
White Hat: Southlake, Texas and Los Angeles, California are both very expensive places to live because of their market value and where it is located. Not only should you have your finances together to make sure you can afford houses in places as such, but you need to make sure this where you want to live because of the toll it can take on your finances.
Black Hat: The disadvantage of not having good finances is, you're not able to provide or not have enough for the expenses that you're children may need. Not only that, but it would be hard to pay for expenses such as your bills and your mortgage.
Yellow Hat: The positives of living in these places is you have a sense of pride because you're able to provide and purchase something that you've saved for and worked for so that way you know you've worked hard.
Red Hat:I feel as though that I would like to get my finances together so that way I can afford the place i want to live. For example I would like to live in Los Angeles, California or Southlake,Texas and these are both very expensive places to live so I would to have my finances in order.
Career
Blue Hat: The big picture or the goal is to become a social media specialist because it's related to marketing and I find that interesting because they use social media as a tool when it comes to marketing and advertising their product.
Green Hat: In order to make sure that the career that I have is what I actually want to do is "shadow" someone who is working in the field that you are interested in and learn all the ins and outs of that job, so then you can get a deeper understanding on what the job is about and what you like and don't like and then figure out if you that's what you want to do.
An example of this would is I want to be a social media specialist, but in order to make sure that, that is what I want to do, I could shadow someone who works as a social media specialist.
Black Hat: The disadvantages of becoming a social media specialist is what they're working on doesn't reflect in their image or their brand. Another disadvantage is there could be a loss in the marketing campaign or it could have veered off from what is was supposed to be originally.
White Hat: A social media specialist or a marketing specialist is someone who has their finger on what is selling in different locations and they analyze the shopping habits of those people and look at their competitors and their pricing. Marketing Specialists also administer surveys to figure out what people like and how to advertise their product.
Red Hat: I feel as though being a social media specialist would be a good job to have because it's doing something that I'm interested in and something that I am to be excited for when it comes to working. At the same time I feel as though being a social media specialist can have an impact on the people targeted because of the way the product is being advertised and I would like to be apart of that.
Yellow Hat: Having a job that is in the field that you like is a great thing because you're able to perform your best and you have a good understanding on what you need to do. For example, if you've gone to college to study marketing then you can get a job that involves being a marketing specialist.
A social media specialist gets paid in Texas from a range of $75,000-$100,000.
Community
Blue Hat: The goal or my goal is to live in a good community where it's safe and there is no crime rates and make sure it's a place where my children can play and not worry about their safety.
White Hat: Living in gated communities is there is a higher amount of security and it's not as dangerous for the people that are living in that particular, but living in a gated community doesn't come cheap.
Red Hat: I feel as though living in a community such as a gated community is a good thing because your children are safe and protected and you can also control who's going in or out of the community. A fear is that someone who doesn't really live there could find a way to get in, but this is more like a petty fear or a small fear. A rather important fear is my children won't be surrounded by people who are different than them.
Black Hat: The disadvantages of living in a gated community is your children are sheltered, so they don't really get to see the people or the places around them as often because they're "isolated" in a way. Another disadvantage is they don't get familiar with people who aren't like themselves. I say this because people in gated communities or communities as such, are usually surrounded by people who are already like them.
Yellow Hat: I think the positive side to living a community such as a gated community is a lot safer because you know who is coming and out of your neighborhood. At the same time your kids are protected because the community is gated. These are also the benefits as well.
Green Hat: In order to help people who live in gated communities become familiar with the communities around them is they could hold community gatherings for everyone so that way they can become familiar with different cultures and not just the people that are like them.
