Student Centered Leanring
Technology will be used to focus in on student centred learning and move away from content focused learning in the classroom
Research and Innovation
Teachers will participate in evidence based practices and apply research to promote creativity in the classroom.
Teachers will learn and discover new ways of teaching and learning through technology to advance learning in the classroom.
Education leaders will establish policies and governance to aid in effective technology to support student centered learning and leadership.
Access infrastructure and Digital learning environments
All Students, teachers and other educational professionals will have equal access to devices and networks to enrich digital learning environments
ISTE Standards for Students
Students will use technology to take an active role in their learning
Students will Understand the rights and responsibilities that come from working and learning in a connected world and act in ways that are safe, legal and ethical, responsible and respectable.
Students will be able to set goals and use network, use digital tools and build knowledge which will make meaningful experiences for themselves and others.
Students will communicate clearly and creatively when expressing themselves using tools and and technology.
Students will be able to broaden themselves and their perspectives to be able to work with others locally and globaly.
ISTE Standards for Teachers
Promote and model digital citizenship and responsibility
Teachers will advocate, dress, promote and develop and understanding for local and global societal issues and exhibit legal and ethical behaviour in their professional practices

Teachers will model lifelong learning, leadership in their school, and professional communities while promoting and demonstrating the use of digital tools.

Teachers will be able to demonstrate, collaborate and communicate digital age work and learning to show professionalism in a global and digital setting
