What type of lifestyle do you want to live?
My preferred community contains:
The reasoning of my opinions with the six thinking hats
Yellow Hat : The positives of living in a safe community reduces the risks of having people rob my home, kidnapping my children and being ran over at any random time.
The positives of having diversity is that you don't always see the same people everyday, I myself grew up in a diverse neighborhood and enjoy seeing how different people maintain their homes and how some people don't celebrate the same holidays as you. It makes you have less hatred to other religions, in other words makes you open minded.
The positives of controlled weather is probably the bipolar of Texas. I would like the place I live in where its like the four seasons and in order. Not hot in December or no rain at all when its supposed to rain. I enjoy the different seasons and am sure that my children would like to experience snow and rain while growing up.
Black Hat: I see no negatives on 2 of my three options, that one that I see a negative is diversity. Sometimes even though there is diversity there might be one block of the community that hates one certain race, or external influences can affect my children and they can start hating on everyone else except for their own race.
White Hat: According to this website (
), the safest city in America is Lewisboro Town, New York.
This website tells you the safest cities in Texas.(
The one I would prefer is Mansfield in Texas.
Red Hat: I feel like this is all I need in order for my family and I to be happy for the longest time, if we got robbed every other month then no one would be happy even the children's mindset could change with that type of environment. Controlled weather makes it possible where no one gets sick all year round and we wont have to deal with that as much as we do here in Texas.
Green Hat: The only possible solution to not exposing my children to external influences is to send him to a good school. When he goes play outside to the park or in the front yard I will also need to follow him when he is four years old to eight years old.
Blue hat: In order to be able to do all of this I need to be able to maintain a constant job that will allow us to rent a house in one of the safest cities and also make sure I don't slack on taking care of my child. I will also need to make sure I read the reviews of the school I will be sending my children in order to make sure it is safe. Maybe even attend some of its events before my child is born and see how the children talk and express themselves there.
My finances or how much I will make a year is being a lawyer. The top 25 percent make up to one hundred eighty thousand dollars a year.
Implying I make 180,000 dollars a year
Yellow: The positive of making this much money is that I will be able to buy a good home and very good cars like a BMW.I will also wont have to worry about paying my bills every month .Wouldn't really worry about anything at this point would be able to give my family the best they deserve.
Black Hat: One bad thing is that I would pay more taxes, and making a lot of money opens space for engaging with a gold digger.
White Hat: I don't really see any white hats to my finances except that its a six figure.
Green Hat: There is no escaping taxes you can reduce it but can't escape it
To escape gold diggers you can go outside meeting people looking like you make an average salary and see if she loves you for what you are and not your money
Red hat: I sometimes feel that making the twenty five percent of lawyers is impossible maybe I will be average I'm ok with that, I also feel my finance of one hundred ten thousand a year is possible with detemination
Blue hat: In order for this to work out I will need a good GPA and be able to get a good score on the LSAT.
Yellow hat : They make six figures, and is a challenging. (I like challenging tasks.)Another positive is that people will look up to you in respect because they might be your next customer.
Black Hat: Lawyers are put under a lot of stress and work long hours.
White Hat: Once again this website,(
), explains the truths behind being a lawyer. You also meet some annoying people from time to time.
Green hat: One way I can fix stress is by exercising, meditating and focusing on the present according to some of the things in this article.(
Red hat:I honestly feel like being a lawyer is a respectable job because its not easy at all to be a well paid lawyer. When I think of lawyers I usually tell myself,"They are successful and now even make more then a six figure." I would also feel very proud of myself if I do become one of the top twenty five percent of lawyers in my school.
Blue Hat: Again to do this process I would need to get a good score on the LSAT and graduate law school with a good gpa.
I would want my family to be one wife and two children . Edit after reasoning is one child, after more reasoning no child until one of us stops working.
Reasoning with 6 hats
Yellow hat: The positives of this is that people with children tend to be happier than people who don't have children.
Black Hat: My job might be very stressful to spend any time with my children or wife. My wife would alter then talk about how I don't spend enough time with the children and have to worry about which would then interfere with my job. They both affect each other.
White hat: Lawyers do in fact work many hours and is a stressful job..(
) From dealing with annoying customer to the fear of being the low 20 percent lawyers.
Green hat: To be honest If I was a lawyer I probably wouldn't have time to have two kids. So I will change that to one child.
Red Hat- I feel like still having one child is still stressful when being a lawyer. I know that lawyers take the LSAT every five years so at one point I will have to focus on the test alone and ignore my family. That would be really bad on my part and as mentioned before my wife would get mad for not spending time with them.
Blue Hat- Once again to be able to do this I need to first, pass the LSAT and get a good gpa. Then find a wife who stays as busy as me and will stop working to take care of the child later on.
