Barriers
Culture: Close corporate culture that keeps communication from happening or when employee communicate info that they feel that they are expected to and not what they believe in
Roles: No matter how open seniors leaders, managers believe they are to employee inputs, employees are often hesitant to share their honest insights which may be critical piece of info
Bias: E.g. halo effect, stereotyping can hinder communication
Misinterpretation: can happen over the phone, face-to-face. May leads to conflicts and affect our response

Discussion forum: space that helps employees to clarify and communicate any doubts and bring them closer together
Personalised email : to notify employees of any updates regarding the company such as, major policies changes, employee of the month, and wellness programmes
