Jovana Salas: Reflecting on My Growth through the Personal Project
Challenges
Videos don't go into google docs so I had to add a link instead, which wasn't my plan.
I didn't have access to a computer so I had to write part of my book by hand
Might not have enough time to include extra theories
Support
I found various articles online on how to create an ebook
I also found videos online that give me a lot of good information about the origin of conspiracies that I can use on my book
My sister gave me some conspiracies to include in my book like the fake moon landing and the lizard people
Mindset
As I started working I became hopeful because I liked the progress I was making
Now that I'm reaching the end of the project I'm kind of stressed because theres not enough time but I'll work hard to complete it
I was very excited at the beginning because the topic was interesting to me
IB Traits
I chose what I thought people would be most interested in reading (thinker)
I included conspiracies that I didn't like but thought other people might like (Illuminati conspiracy) so I included those (open-minded)
I started with a question and asked more questions to myself to find what I wanted my projects to be (inquirer)
ATL Skills
I am doing good on time, just like I planned, but I found too much info I don't know if to include it all
I thought of what others would find interesting in my topic, not only what I would like to see
I investigated a lot of conspiracies during the first months of this project
Learning Style
Reading my notes about conspiracies over and over again helps me process what I read and know how to organize it
Writing the information I find about conspiracies helps me understand better what I'm reading
I understand better seeing the conspiracy written down of instead of hearing others say it
