Cort Bass Money Box Research
Cost
I am aiming to make at least £3-5 profit per unit
The materials I start with will cost about £1-2 including waste
the manufacturing process is a batch process, it will cost approximately £15 per 45 units
Sale Price
each unit will cost me at most, £2.33
so I am aiming to sell them at about £7 each
Customer
I believe my customers will appreciate earthy and woody colors, as Cort guitars are usually made out of exotic woods, often sandwiched together.
my clients Interests are likely to be, unsurprisingly, Guitars!
my clients are likely to appreciate a joined up script that resembles hand writing, as this is what the company logo uses
Useability
the product Is VERY easy to use. I mean it is a money box!!
I think the product is pretty self explanatory so I don't think that it is necessary for an instruction manual
Ergonomics
as discussed before when talking about the customer I think I should use wood as it relates back to the actual product made by cort themselves
obviously it cant be the size of a real guitar as that would be plain impractical so I think it needs to be approximately 30 centimeters from the bottom to the head stock and the width proportional to the hieght
It needs to be the exact shape of one of their bass guitars, just scaled down
Quality
The overall quality of the product will be very good as it is made of high quality materials
I am only using glue in the construction of the product so should look very clean
Function
There will be a slot in the top to put money in.
and a plugged hole in the bottom to remove the money
Environment
My product is made entirely of wood so is completely harmless to the environment.
all of the processes I use only use electricity so I don't personally create any pollution, but it is debatable that the processes used to make the electricity pollute the atmosphere
