John Velazquez: Reflecting on My Growth through the Personal Project
Mindset
During: I was struggling because I was trying to progressive overload until break point.
After: I was proud of myself after I was done. The next day I was in pain because of muscle soreness.
Before: I was nervous and lazy at the beginning of the project.
Support
Ms. Jackson she will help me in kick boxing. That will help me to train my legs.
I have my parents as well to take me to the YMCA.
I have the YMCA to supply me with weights. Also workout equipment.

Inquirer I asked questions and researched them to find the answer to them and grow
Open minded I accepted the idea that I should stick with running because it is good for your heart and lower abs.
Balanced because I need to be balanced with school and the gym
Learning Styles
I learned as a hands on person because I was the one doing the workouts, and the one in pain.
I learned as a visual learner because I saw videos and pictures of how to workout.
I grew in learning by myself because I worked out
alone and I feel more dependent.
Challenges
I will need to show commitment and not skip my workouts.
I needed to work on my schedule because I need to have time to workout every other day.
I had to fight DOMS ( Delayed onset muscle soreness) after every workout.
ATL Skills
I grew in researching because I had to find specific workouts for my type of body.
I grew socially because I motivated my friends and shared knowledge with them.
I grew in self-management because I haven't stopped my workout routine and I keep going to the gym.
