Where are my Organs?
-
A lot of jobs
Every organs has a special function or jobs . Skin is the largest organs in our body that protects all the orther ORGANS.
Did you know?
My heart is not at the left of the body ,it is in the middle but because the left is bigger than the right sight so it will lean to the left side.
My skin is the largest organ in my body. The largest organ in me is my liver and also the heaviest.1.5 kg.
Organization
Systems
The circulatory system takes the blood around to every part of the body.It is made out of PUMPING HEART ,the STRONG ARTERIES that carries blood away from it ,the tiny capillaries, and the veins that carries the blood back.
The digestive system starts with your mouth , stomach and intestine. It breaks down your food to give you energy.
The respiratory system is made of lungs and the airways that run to them. You use it when you breath.
Systems work together
Organs work in systems which works together . For example when you exercise , you need energy . To get energy you need food and oxygen .My digestive system will break down my food. my respiratory system will provide oxygen to my body. The blood in the circulatory system carries both oxygen and food to your muscles,so that you can exercise.
Waste disposal
Waste products from food are carried back to digestive system. Dead blood cells go there too. This passes out of the body and flushed away. Waste gas -Mostly carbon dioxide-is carried to your respiratory system . You breath out more carbon dioxide than you breath in .
Digestion
The long Journey
When you swallow your food it travels through your gut or digestive system .This is (mostly) a tube ten times as long as you are tall. on its way the food is completely changed .Nutrients- chemical essential for energy , health and growth -are taken out.
-
Munching and mashing
To release nutrients , you will need to break down your food . You cut crush and squeeze it.Your teeth will cut and chew then you swallow .Your food is squeezed down a tube called OESOPHAGUS and into the mascular bag. The bag is the stomach.and it get to work , squeezing and squashing until the food is liquid, which it squirts into your intestine.
Squirting and splashing
In the mouth and stomach 17 chemicals gets to work , breaking down your food . The stomach is about the same size as a large drink bottle. It will take 2-4 hours to turn my food into thick soup. Then it will squirt in to the small intestine . Its velvety lining acts like blotting paper soaking up the useful food and a passing a thick sludge into my large intestine.

breathing in and out
You need oxygen
You need oxygen every minute of everyday, you cant store your oxygen . without oxygen you cannot release the energy from your food . you can take a deep breath and hold but the carbon dioxide waste in your blood is sending a ,mesege to your brain.
Special sponges
When you breath in the air will go down a pipe called trachea and into the lungs. After that the air will travel into smaller and smaller tubes. In the smallest tube there are bags called alveoli.
In and out
Lungs has NO muscles themselves to make them work . They work because they are in a sealed box ( chest). When ribs are raised , chest gets bigger . A strong muscle called diaphragm moves down. This makes the space in the chest bigger . So the lungs will get bigger and air rushes through it.
Breathing in
When you breath in the air will go down to your trachea( wind pipe ) then your ribs will raise, lungs expended and diaphragm lowered and contracted.
Breathing out
When youbreath out the air will come out from theTrachea ( wind pipe) Then your ribs will fall , lungs relaxes and diaphragm relaxed and raised.
