cystic fibrosis affects the pancreas which makes it difficult to digest food, causing malnutrition, weakness, delayed puberty and poor physical growth

what causes CF?
the exact cause is a single faulty gene found in chromosome 7 which controls water and salt content/movement
for a baby to have CF, both parents need to have the CF dominant faulty gene
